Karen O'Connor of Lady K admired Julia Child her entire life and felt an instant connection to Crystal Manning's Julia fabric connection for Moda.

Karen reached out to the Moda team last fall to create a quilt that serendipitously connected the Julia fabric collection with the Julia Child exhibit at the Smithsonian.
