Mini Project Iron (Pink) is rated out of 5 by 54.Rated 5 out of 5 by Kerry G from Perfect mini iron for quicker pressing I absolutely love this mini iron! I recently needed to press binding material and it took 1/3 of the regular time because I didn’t have to keep setting down my old iron. The handheld feature allowed me to maneuver the fabric quicker and easier to get it done faster. I love the ease of use when pressing seams open too...again the smaller size makes it so much easier. The mini iron has also helped me to get used to not setting my iron upright (since I can set it down on the silicone pad). This has been helping me to transition to the larger Oliso quilting iron and not being so tempted to set it upright after every use.Date published: 2019-11-06Rated 5 out of 5 by Memecindy from Great for Projects only I saw online just how cute this little iron was and with a coupon code from Quilty Love, I just had to purchase. It is not for daily ironing like sheets, dresses and etc but for crafts and pressing small tiny seams open. It gets very hot very quickly. It is very light weight. It does not steam unless you press the steam button. A feature that I had to figure out as that is not clear in the manual of how to use your iron. So Pressing this button takes some strength in your hands. It seems to be meant for very intermittent use. Perfect for crafts/quilting/pressing tight seams. I would recommend this iron as a secondary iron not the primary household one. Very compact and easy to use.Date published: 2020-02-18Rated 5 out of 5 by Elizabeth from LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I have the large Oliso iron and love it. When I saw the Mini, I thought I should get it because sometimes I just need a touch up or working on a project. This iron has not disappointed. It is fabulous. I can’t believe it has the same heating capacity as my large iron and still has the long cord. Fits my hand perfectly. It has a steam feature. Everything I would have wanted in a small iron. I also plan to use it when traveling. Thank you Oliso for another winner.Date published: 2019-08-29Rated 2 out of 5 by Holly from Pros and Cons I purchased this iron because I have RA and have trouble lifting a full-sized iron up and down (turning motion) with my wrist. Pros: can easily lift off my project in a straight motion and place it on the mat which is what I was looking for; slightly heavier than other mini irons I have used; gets nice and hot; pretty color; nice lines; seems like good quality Cons: iron body gets quite hot (uncomfortably so) when using; so does mat; steam buttons are stiff, awkward, and almost impossible to use; somewhat different handle/grip that I am getting used to Overall, I like not having to lift and turn my wrist. Otherwise, I would not purchase this again unless it had some type of auto shut off or mechanism to keep the body from getting so hot. I may try a full-size Oliso at a later time.Date published: 2019-08-21Rated 5 out of 5 by Lesley from Meets all my needs and then some Because of the size, this iron is perfect for the variety of uses I have as a crafter. It is excellent for iron-on transfers, quick seams, and details. I love the consistent heat, smooth glide and especially the solemate, keeping the hot side down and with reach is a plus. The hand grip is a bit awkward at first but I found a comfortable position when I keep my index finger on the top. PS. My students loved it and wanted to take this little gem home with them. The travel size is perfect.Date published: 2019-08-30Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Baby Pink Oliso! I needed a really good small iron to use at my work station without having to set up the ironing board. The Oliso M2 Pro is exactly what I've been looking for. It works as well as my Oliso Pro I touch and the sole plate is the best I've used! I've tried to register my new little pink baby, but she's so new that the registration is not even available yet!Date published: 2019-06-05Rated 5 out of 5 by Lori from Adorable I love the size of this iron. sometimes my arm gets tired of lifting my large iron. heats up quickly so need to leave it on continuously.Date published: 2020-03-25Rated 5 out of 5 by Lillian K - TX from Great Iron - NO Auto SHut off and Gets really HOT This is one of the best small irons I have ever used (other than a travel iron from the 1950's). I LOVE This Iron. - It gets very hot - and does NOT have the auto shut off feature that drives all of us quilters crazy. Don't change a thing with the heat level or the shut off feature. I do recommend an easier to use/grasp heat set dial.Date published: 2019-11-11
